During this week, the Portuguese architect Zé Carlos Oliveira, director of the NoArq studio located in Trofa, Portugal, gives a workshop to MArch school master’s and postgraduate students.

Zé Carlos is one of the longest-serving collaborators of the famed and Pritzker laureate Álvaro Siza, who also collaborates with MArch. For more than twenty years he has directed projects within his studio and in parallel has created his own with which he has developed a very interesting work, collected in monographs such as those of TC and Uzina and has obtained numerous awards such as the first prize of the competition for the new bridge over the Douro in Porto.
