The trip to Venice recently took place for the students of MArch Advanced in Architecture and Design. On this trip we have been able to visit the Architecture Biennale with the different pavilions distributed between the arsenal and the gardens, as well as the Vatican chapels.

We also take the opportunity to get to know the city. We visit its historical part, with buildings by Andrea Palladio, such as San Giorgio Maggiore, San Francesco della Vigna and other emblematic places. We did the same with those samples of contemporary architecture of great recognition, visiting buildings such as La Punta della Dogana by Tadao Ando, the Fondaco dei Tedeschi by Rem Koolhaas and part of Carlo Scarpa’s work in the city, such as access to the IUAV, the Olivetti store or the Fondazione Querini Stampalia.
