Site visit to the new NIU development in Campolivar

During the course of the MArch Architecture and Design master’s and postgraduate programs, we carry out visits to works in the construction phase. Thanks to the possibility of visiting different projects, we have the opportunity to learn about the different stages a work of architecture goes through. On this occasion, the site visit was made to the new development of Campolivar in Valencia by NIU Houses, a brand of industrialized architecture with designs by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos.
The project under construction is located in the municipality of Godella, to the north of the town center and between the terms of Rocafort and Paterna, just over 4 kilometers from Valencia. The proposal consists of generating a full-scale catalog of the different typologies and finishes to give the possibility of physically experiencing the sensation of living in a fully equipped NIU house with all the furniture and gardening.
The set will be made up of 15 plots, in which 7 NIU typologies designed with one and two floors are arranged. N70, N150, N160, N220, N230, N260 and N320, all designed with a spacious living room open to two orientations, ideal for enjoying the porch all year round.
