During the days in which the students of the MArch Advanced program in Architecture, design and business administration have been visiting the 18th edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale, they have also taken the opportunity to learn about some of the projects carried out in recent years in the city .
Among them, they have visited the Punta della Dogana, a project by Tadao Ando that is inserted in a pre-existing, the old customs house of Venice, in front of Santa Maria della Salute, and which was intervened by the Japanese architect with the greatest possible subtlety, restoring its partitions and original structure while grafting new partitions on reinforced concrete, reconfiguring the space with new rooms which have given rise to a new exhibition center.
