Once again this year, the students of the MArch master’s programmes and the MArch postgraduate programme in design and digital innovation have had the privilege of listening to Pepe Gimeno, one of the greatest voices in the world of design and, in particular, graphic design. The event took place at the Centre Octubre and the students were able to learn from Pepe Gimeno’s creativity as well as from the work processes developed for the creation of his different projects.
With a very relevant and distinguished career with multiple recognitions collected during the last decades, Pepe Gimeno is one of the most influential graphic designers of the Spanish panorama, which has led him to collaborate with outstanding companies and entities, some of them linked to the world of architecture, as is the case of the company Roca or more recently the Casa de la Arquitectura, having been in charge of the first corporate image of the same since its recent creation.
After Pepe Gimeno’s speech, who in turn introduced his team, Gimeno Gràfic, they started a workshop on graphic design composition that will be held in the days following the talk in the MArch classroom of the Espai Alfaro.
