Espai Guastavino, located in the Valencia College of Architects, has launched a new visual identity designed by renowned graphic designer Ibán Ramón. This space, conceived as a cultural meeting point, complements the recently remodeled courtyard of the building, offering a unique environment for activities related to architecture and design.
The new identity, developed by Ibán Ramón, features a black-and-white palette and a Sans Serif typography, capturing the essence of this multidisciplinary space that hosts talks, presentations, and exhibitions, while also including a specialized store. This store offers highly relevant publications in the fields of design and architecture, such as those from General Ediciones de Arquitectura and its prestigious TC Cuadernos series, solidifying its position as a reference point for professionals and enthusiasts of these disciplines.
Ramón’s approach stands out for its precision and sensitivity to architectural values, blending tradition and modernity in a graphic proposal that highlights the cultural importance of Espai Guastavino. His work aligns with the mission of the Valencia College of Architects: to foster knowledge and the exchange of ideas around design and architecture.
In addition to being a creator with an extensive career and international recognition, Ibán Ramón is also a lecturer in the MArch program, teaching the M06_Graphic and Product module, where he shares his experience with new generations of designers and architects, strengthening the link between theory and practice in contemporary design. This new visual identity not only enhances Espai Guastavino’s presence as a cultural hub but also solidifies its role as a benchmark for the dissemination and promotion of architecture and design, at the heart of the Valencia College of Architects.
