Within the MArch program in architecture, design and business administration, the first class related to the Business Model has been taught.
It focuses on a fundamental aspect for the proper development of a study, whether architecture or design, delving into the steps of a business plan and resorting to real cases for a better approach to the results.
The class is taught by Maria Masià, who graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2012 after having spent a stay at the Lusíada University of Porto where she had the opportunity to train at the prestigious Portuguese school. Upon her return she joined the team of Fran Silvestre Arquitectos where today she is one of the partners of the studio and where she serves as director of operations. Under her leadership, some of the studio’s most recognized projects have been developed, such as Casa entre la Pinada and Casa Hofmann, among many others.
Likewise, she has participated in the creation of the MArch postgraduate school since its birth in 2013, currently being its general coordinator. She has also taught classes at the European University of Valencia and has acted as a speaker for institutions such as the Catholic University of Córdoba, the AIA of Kansas City or the Almería Art Center.
