In recent days, we had the privilege of attending the conference by Carmen Moreno, who shared with our students projects of different scales, recounting the processes of some of them that have occupied more than ten years of her professional career, as well as showing others of an ephemeral nature such as installations and museum projects.
His experience, which mixes architecture, urban planning, curating and museography, is of great interest to students, as his versatility and tenacity serve as an example and inspiration for all those who want to explore the different paths offered by the profession of architecture and development. of jobs with very diverse budgets, times and clients.
Carmen Moreno is a prominent architect and doctor in architecture from the UGR, who has taught classes since 2007. Her teaching experience has led her to be a guest professor at institutions such as the FAUP, the Technical University of Munich and the UIC, in addition to practicing architecture in various fields. She has been recognized for her innovative approach to design, receiving awards such as Residential Architecture and being a finalist in the FAD and BEAU awards. She has also represented Spain at the Venice Biennale on three occasions and co-directed the 13th edition of the BEAU. During the conference, she shared with us her extensive career, presenting rehabilitation projects, new construction, landscape interventions and exhibitions.
