Lavernia&Cienfuegos undertakes the bottle design of the new Massimo Dutti 1985 fragrance.

The renowned design studio Lavernia & Cienfuegos, speakers at MArch, where they also lead the workshop on product design, has once again collaborated with the prestigious fashion brand Massimo Dutti, this time to create the bottle for its new men’s perfume “1985”.
This name refers to the company’s founding year and seeks to evoke a sense of nostalgia and legacy. However, the main objective of the design was to convey a contemporary, youthful and fresh vibe, without losing the touch of elegance that characterizes the brand.
The bottle design and packaging were conceived with meticulous attention to detail. For the packaging, Lavernia&Cienfuegos adopted the concept of a book, allowing its display in stores to resemble a library, bringing an air of sophistication and culture. Product information is located on one side of the packaging, simulating the spine of a book, adding a distinctive and elegant touch.
To further elevate the perception of the perfume’s quality, the packaging is covered with a paper that mimics a textile texture and features a black print with the brand’s name. In addition, it incorporates a fabric ribbon for easy removal of the bottle, which also features a label on one side, maintaining the coherence of the elegant and functional design.
With this design, Lavernia&Cienfuegos has not only managed to capture the essence of Massimo Dutti, but has also created a unique and memorable user experience, which is sure to attract the attention of consumers looking for a product that combines freshness, youth and elegance.
