With the start of module M03_Construct, Estefanía Soriano has shared her experience and knowledge about the development of architectural projects with the students.

During the sessions, she outlined the various stages a project goes through, emphasizing the procedures carried out and the agents involved in each process. She also presented the working methodology employed at Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, from the initial assignment of a commission to its materialization, highlighting both the conceptual approach and cost management at every stage.

Additionally, the regulatory framework applicable to projects was addressed, explaining how the studio has worked to ensure compliance with regulations. Soriano introduced platforms used to access the necessary technical documentation, helping students understand how to apply these regulations and which aspects are essential when starting to design an architectural proposal. This practical approach has enabled students to gain a solid understanding of the relationship between regulations, design, and development. Furthermore, the production, organization, and presentation system for technical documentation inspired by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos was explored. Strategies for structuring and storing project information were another key point covered, providing tools for efficient content management.

Estefanía Soriano, an architect from ETSAV with a distinguished academic record, has taught Architectural Projects at UPV and has been part of Fran Silvestre Arquitectos since 2014. As an associate and director of one of the studio’s teams, she has led emblematic projects such as the Hofmann House and the Mirror of Water House. Renowned for her attention to detail and her constant pursuit of perfection, Soriano combines extensive experience in management and construction with a deep commitment to architectural excellence.
