Closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 academic year

The closing ceremony of the course of the different MArch programs was held last Wednesday 25th with the presence of students, teachers and family members, who gathered at the Espai Alfaro to commemorate the end of an academic stage. The event was attended by Salva Moret, architect, MArch speaker and director of the Ensenyem academy, who acted as godfather of the ceremony.
His presentation was very encouraging, as he gave an inspiring speech in which he highlighted the importance of creativity, perseverance and continuous learning in professional practice. Through personal anecdotes and real-world examples, he encouraged the graduates to bravely face the challenges of the future and to continue their growth as architects and designers, emphasizing all the learning they take away from this course.
The event also had an emotional moment when student Beto Sánchez, representing his generation, addressed a few words to his classmates. With a friendly and grateful tone, Sánchez spoke of the challenges, lessons learned and experiences shared during the course. He stressed the importance of collective effort and mutual support between classmates, key elements. In addition, he highlighted the value of the bonds formed during this time, both personal and professional, through time shared in the classroom, trips and moments outside the classroom, and how these will endure in the future, strengthening a network of collaboration between all those present.
The event culminated with the long-awaited presentation of diplomas, a moment full of emotion in which the students were called one by one to receive recognition for their effort and dedication. The presentation was carried out by Maria Masià, coordinator of the MArch programs, who has been a key figure in the development and success of these courses and who stands out for her involvement and closeness with the students. She personally presented the diplomas, accompanying each one with words of congratulations.
Their work throughout the course has not only been fundamental in academic management, but also in the constant support to the students, who have deeply appreciated their dedication. This symbolic gesture closed the ceremony with a flourish, highlighting the connection between the academic team and the graduates.
