On Thursday, January 30, as part of the trip to Barcelona organized within the framework of the MArch programs, students had the opportunity to attend a lecture given by Alberto Veiga, one of the founding partners of the prestigious Barozzi Veiga studio.

This firm is a prime example of a young practice that has achieved an outstanding international trajectory, carrying out large-scale projects with remarkable professional solidity.

During his presentation, Alberto Veiga shared with the students some of the projects that inspire him the most, such as Casa Malaparte, highlighting the influences that have shaped his work. He then introduced some of the studio’s most representative projects, including Tanzhaus in Zurich, the Dynafit Headquarters in Kiefersfelden, and Oolite Arts in Miami. Throughout his talk, he provided a detailed insight into their creative process, showcasing initial sketches and models, which later evolve into detailed renders to effectively communicate their proposals.
