The work of the sculptor Andreu Alfaro is closely related to architecture and the proof of this is that in most cases, he conceived the sculptures with the public space in mind. It is precisely this relationship with architecture that led him to leave a piece permanently in Venice, and which can be enjoyed with each edition of the biennale.

These are the doors of the Spanish pavilion, within the Giardini complex, which give dynamism to a massive, resounding volume, which appears as a large opaque body. The doors, for their part, made of stainless steel, are made up of wavy lines that, arranged diagonally and separated by a few centimeters, are repeated over their entire surface, thus allowing light to penetrate the interior of this building.
